Two Brothers Re-Make “Toy Story” as Stop-Animation

Two Brothers Re-Make “Toy Story” as Stop-Animation

As a kid I messed around with my parents’ video camera a lot.  I made my own movies and we had ‘movie premieres’ that made me feel like I was Steven Speilberg.  I made classics like “Pony Boy” and “Stupidman,” which was a real indicator as to where I’d end up in life, and I even dabbled in some very rough stop-animation.

But nothing I did comes close to what these two brothers did.  Over 8 years they re-created the movie Toy Story (with Pixar’s blessing I might add, which is also cool) and you can now watch the 90 minute completion below.

This is very impressive for adults to pull off, let alone kids, and for their work to actually be pretty decent is stunning.  The future generation of filmmakers is right here and the future looks bright.  Enjoy!
