Jeff Bridges could use the love and support of his fans right now. The actor has revealed that he’s been diagnosed with Lymphoma, a cancer of the body’s network that fights off diseases.
Bridges has shared the news of his diagnosis on Twitter, starting off the post with a reference to his iconic role as The Dude in “The Big Lebowski.” Bridges has also revealed that he’s starting treatment, and feels “fortunate” not only that his “prognosis is good,” but also that he has a “great team” of doctors in his corner.
“As The Dude would say… New sh*t has come to light,” he writes. “I’m profoundly grateful for the love and support from my family and friends. And while I have you, please remember to vote, because we are all in this together.”
