Born and raised in the metro area, Mike has had a passion for music all of his life. Upon the stark realization that he couldn’t carry a tune, he turned to radio and hasn’t looked back. After graduating from the Radio Broadcast Program at IWCC, Mike got his start with 101.9 The Keg, working weekends. Soon thereafter, he was promoted to afternoon drive. In his free time, Mike is an avid sports fan, football and basketball being his favorites. He also enjoys playing the guitar, though he admits that he’s not very good. Additionally, Mike is an outdoor-enthusiast, and an animal lover. He even has a few pets of his own, including a dog, a cat. Mike has also recently become a first-time-father that helps take up his free time. He’s incredibly excited to be a part of the 101.9 The Keg team and to help keep growing the best rock station in Omaha!
